16/02/2010 Greenvale AP have teamed up with on site wind energy specialists Wind Direct to investigate the possibility of producing clean, green renewable energy at their facility near Doddington, March.
The installation of a wind turbine at the Greenvale Doddington site, will enable Greenvale to reduce their carbon footprint, whilst protecting against volatile energy prices.

Wales’ Largest On-Site Wind Project Operational at Solutia Chemicals (UK)

15/12/2009 The largest on-site wind generation project in Wales became operational yesterday as turbine blades started turning at Solutia Chemicals (UK).
Having completed the testing phase, the two 2.5MW wind turbines are now fully operational and will supply up to a third of the chemical company’s needs at the site in Newport, Wales.

16/10/2009 Wind turbine blades for Solutia Chemicals’ green energy project are to be delivered to the Newport site this weekend.

27/08/2009 An innovative new town in Scotland for 20,000 people could soon be using energy generated by Wind Direct turbines.
Owenstown, which is named after the pioneering mill owner, Robert Owen, will be built on a 2,000 acre site in Lanarkshire and if everything goes to plan, could be established within the next three years.
