Wind turbines powering Suffolk

10/04/2013 The two wind turbines at the Roy Humphrey Group’s site at Eye in Suffolk became fully operational today.
Following 18 months of careful preparation and consultation, the developer of the project, UK onsite wind specialists, Wind Direct, received planning permission for two 2.5MW wind turbines at the first time of asking in August 2010.

ICE Help Youngsters Build a Bridge to Learning

31/01/2013 The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) North East has helped youngsters at a Whitley Bay school to bridge the learning gap and find out about careers in engineering.
ICE North East took its 13 metre scaled model cable-stayed bridge to Monkseaton High School, where students worked with representatives from the Institution to assemble the structure.

11/01/2013 Two beacons of sustainability will become visible on the Suffolk landscape this Monday as Roy Humphrey Group’s wind turbines are lifted into place. The turbine erections mark the final stages in this ground breaking project that brings large scale renewables to Eye for the first time.
